blue bullet  In the world today homosexuality and lesbianism are two of the worst sins known to be committed by men and women.  These repulsive activities are growing worldwide at an alarming and unabated rate.  The gross sins of homosexuality and lesbianism are rebellious acts against God, society, nature, and the human body.  Men and women were created in the image of God and homosexuality and lesbianism were never intended as an acceptable sexual behavior. The Bible declares, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet" (Romans 1:26-27). 

God abhorred the sin of homosexuality and lesbianism so much that He destroyed two ancient cities for this sin.  "The LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not I will know" (Genesis 18:20-21).  "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and the fire from the LORD out of heaven" (Genesis 19:24).

This is the only recorded incident in the Bible where God personally destroyed two twin cities for the sin of homosexuality and lesbianism.  Instead of men and women using their bodies as a temple of the Holy Ghost, they yielded themselves to the fleshly desires of sin and turned their bodies into instruments of wickedness for Satan, and thus evoking God's judgment.

Satan's strongest effort to attack God and destroy the human race is that of turning God's creation, mankind, into a vile and unclean sexual heathen.  However, victory be to God that Satan will never defeat the Trinity or their chosen people.  Mankind cannot excuse himself by believing that he/she is born to be a homosexual or a lesbian.  "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.  Then when lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.  Do not err, my beloved brethren" (James 1:13-16). 

One of the things that makes homosexuality and lesbianism so diabolically evil is that these individuals recruit and train other people, who would otherwise never consider this filthy sexual perversion.  Today homosexuals and lesbians are pushing our lawmakers and society as never before to accept their deviant behavior as "normal".  While it may be true that you cannot legislatively force morality upon unwilling individuals you can legislate justice.  Justice demands that we consider carefully our fundamental freedoms that are founded upon God's divine wisdom.  If it is legislatively and morally wrong for one person to steal and destroy the life of another through malicious murder, it must also be legislatively and morally wrong to steal and destroy the life of another through the grotesque practice of homosexuality and lesbianism.

It is certain that, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?  Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God" (I Corinthians 6:9-10). 
 
Praise be to God, there is no power of evil or sin on earth that our God cannot conquer.  "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God" (I Corinthians 6:11).  "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angles, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus (Yeshua) our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39).
